Lancement de "L'hiver Nordique à Châteauroux". Parmi les invités : Aurore Berger Bjursell

La ville de Châteauroux a décidé de créer un événement autour de la littérature, la musique et le cinéma nordique. 

Je pense que c'est une belle initiative.

D'un part c'est grâce à Aurore, ma femme, parce qu'après la sortie de son premier livre intitulé 101 ans de cinéma norvégien (retraçant l'histoire de cette cinématographie méconnu entre 1911 et 2013), la ville de Châteauroux a contacté Aurore pour demander si elle avait envie de parler du cinéma norvégien ou scandinave.

Aurore a expliqué qu'elle était en train d'écrire un livre sur le cinéma suédois contemporain (15 ans de cinéma suédois contemporain. Tendances, thèmes et talents du nouveau cinéma suédois) et la médiathèque avait demandé si elle a pu s'imaginer de pousser la sortie de ce livre jusqu'au novembre 2015, avant L'Hiver Nordique. Comme ça ils ont pu créer des conférences, à la fois, autour du cinéma norvégien et suédois. Aurore a accepté la proposition.

Le jour d'ouverture sur la littérature à la Médiathèque

The town of Châteauroux (where Gérard Depardieu was born) decided to create an event around the literature, the music and the cinema from the Nordic countries. I think it's a good initiative.

It's to en extent thanks to my wife, Aurore Berger Bjursell, because when she released her first book, called 101 ans de cinéma norvégien ("101 years of Norwegian cinema", tracing the history of this rather unknown cinematography from its beginning in 1911 to 2013), the town contacted her to ask her if she would like to speak about Norwegian or Scandinavian cinema, during this festival still being in the process of creation.

Aurore explained that she was, at the moment, writing a book about Swedish contemporary film (15 ans de cinéma suédois contemporain. Tendances, thèmes et talents du nouveau cinéma suédois, in English: "15 years of Swedish contemporary film. Tendencies, themes and talents in the new Swedish cinema") and the mediatheque then asked her if she could imaging postponing the release of that book until November 2015, just before L'hiver Nordique ("Nordic Winter", the name of the festival). That way, they would be able to create conferences both on Norwegian and Swedish cinema. Aurore accepted the proposition.
