Aurore et Les Boréales à Caen

Français (English after the photos) :

English

Aurore got an invitation to talk about the Norwegian cinema and her book 101 ans de cinéma norvégien ("101 years of Norwegian Cinema") in Caen and in Dives-sur-Mer (both of them in the Basse-Normandie region).

First of all with did a small tour around Caen as it was the first time for me, Gunnar, in this town.

After this Aurore talkeda bout the Norwegian Film History but she had to tell the story of 101 or rather 102 years of this less known cinematographie in one hour. Not easy. She did however succeed and besides this she mad the librarians in Caen laugh on at least four occasions during her lecture! Not always obvious (making librarians laugh).

At the University of Caen, Aurore, introduced the Norwegian film Hjem till julHome for Christmas in English. One have to point out that she didn't choose the film. If she have had the possibility choosing, she would not have chosen this film.
