The Grave 2/The Murders

I was called in as an extra again. This time in a Swedish tv-series called Graven (in English: 'The Grave') , later on called Morden (or 'The Murders').

Me and the other extras (only men) had the pleasure working with the actress Marie Richardsson.

When she was surrounded by us men in a specific scene I looked at the group and told her and the others that I had found a suitable name for us: 

'The Beauty and the Beasts'.

It was a nice day, the sun was shining but it was quite cold in the shadow.

Who opens the door?

This was another commercial where I participated as an extra and it was interesting to see how - first of all - the director and the director of photography did not see eye to eye on very much. This lead to long pauses where they discussed how to proceed and sometimes we wondered if they would be able to proceed at all!

Secondly, this scene was retaken five or six times and finally they decided for the first take! I initially opened the door like above, then they wanted me to open the door but stay inside. After this they asked me to kneel down and open the door without being seen! This in spite of the fact that they had asked me to dress like above, like some kind of official person leaving the building. 

A lot of takes and material waisted because of... bad planning?
